Olympia WA sixth grader Quenton Lanese, the world record holder for 12-year-old boys in the mile, ran within .05 hundredths of his world record time at the Brooks PR Invitational, running 4:35.70 to place ninth in the boys junior mile at Renton Memorial Stadium in Renton.
